We may need to assess the spine and hips, lower limb strength and functional activities for example; squats, jumps, balance, bending, lifting.&nbsp; If we need to take a closer look at the pelvic floor muscle complex we will discuss an internal examination of the pelvic floor ( we are professionally trained to carry out both vaginal and anorectal examinations).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Internal examinations are extremely useful to inform an accurate diagnosis and treatment plan.&nbsp; However they are NOT compulsory and are only performed with your explicit consent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As part of your initial assessment, you will receive a bespoke digital summary of your assessment, diagnosis and treatment and management plan.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p>Pelvic health physiotherapy is a safe, effective, and evidence-based approach to managing pelvic health issues.
