Ruth Partridge – Owner and Musculoskeletal Physiotherapist

Ruth is an experienced and compassionate physiotherapist with over 20 years of clinical experience, specialising in musculoskeletal (MSK) physiotherapy.

She began her career in the Manchester area after qualifying in 2002, completing core rotations within the NHS before specialising in MSK physiotherapy. This passion shaped her postgraduate development, including a Diploma in Orthopaedic Medicine in 2005. Ruth held a specialist MSK role within the NHS and also worked in the private sector and with Sale Rugby Club, gaining valuable experience across a range of settings.

In 2009, Ruth relocated to North Wales and established Conwy Physio Clinic in 2012. Alongside running the clinic, she has worked as an Advanced Physiotherapy Practitioner in Primary Care and led a Welsh Government-funded service development project within the NHS. She has since returned full-time to her roots at the clinic.

Ruth is passionate about ongoing professional development, with advanced training and interests in:

  • Shoulder assessment and treatment
  • Sacroiliac joint dysfunction
  • Acupuncture for MSK conditions
  • Ergonomics and workplace health
  • Clinical Pilates
  • Gait analysis and biomechanics
  • Running mechanics and the lower limb
  • Spinal conditions and treatment

Her approach is holistic and person-centred, always aiming to treat the root cause—not just the symptoms. Ruth combines clinical expertise with a genuine passion for helping people move and feel better.

A lifelong runner and former member of Sale Harriers Manchester, Ruth now enjoys the trails and mountains of North Wales. Her love of sport and movement directly informs her work with patients.

Outside of work, Ruth is married and kept on her toes by her two energetic spaniels!
